Privacy policy

What www.asgerami.com collects (almost nothing): no cookies, no analytics, no trackers. What the host logs, what stays in your browser, and how to reach me.

Updated

This policy covers www.asgerami.com, the personal site of Amir Aman. The short version: the site has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers, and I do not collect personal information through it.

What the site stores

  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage under the key theme, so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
  • Nothing else. There are no cookies, no account, no sign-in, no newsletter and no forms that send data anywhere.

What the hosting provider logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request data (your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. I do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.

Third parties

Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts, analytics services or ad networks. Links to GitHub, X, LinkedIn, Telegram and project sites only take you there when you click them; those sites have their own privacy policies.

Machine access

The site also offers machine-readable versions for AI assistants and other software: Markdown copies of pages, /llms.txt, a JSON index and an MCP endpoint at /api/mcp. Requests to them are handled like any other page request and are not stored by me.

If you email me

If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply. I do not add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone.

App privacy policies

My Android apps have their own policies: Hours & Pay, Examen CDL and Quadrille.

Questions

Questions about this policy go to amiraman467@gmail.com. If the site’s practices change, this page will change too, and the date above will say when.
